With almost all couples I work with, I start by offering them my version of a "day-of" wedding package.
My "day-of" package is actually something I consider a six week Wedding Organizing Package. This is the minimum I will usually work, as I am able to really help put the logistics together and get your preferences in my head, allowing me to help make choices or decisions as they arise.
My Wedding Organizing Package includes all of the following:
- Vendor referrals as needed
- Meeting to gather information for timeline and sequence of events for rehearsal and wedding day approximately 4-6 weeks prior to the wedding day with a site visit included
- Create timeline/floorplan/rehearsal order
- Contact all vendors 1-2 weeks prior to wedding day
- Meeting for final coordination of events 1 week prior to wedding day
- Direct ceremony rehearsal; collect personal items to be placed at ceremony
and reception as necessary
- Keep an Emergency Kit for any unforeseen needs
- Coordinate vendors and ALL wedding day events, remaining in attendance for the entire event
- Breakdown and gather all personal possessions and load them in designated cars
- Unlimited advice via email or phone throughout the planning process
I can add on to this package all kinds of things, including:
- Creating and tracking a budget
- Monthly to weekly consultation meetings
- Location and vendor selection process assistance
- Designing the overall look and feel of the day
- ...and much more.
There is no charge for an initial one hour consultation, which will involve getting to know each other, putting your dreams and visions on paper, looking at a starting budget and creating a package that involves a planner as little or as much as you wish. Most packages are custom made for each client based on what they are looking for in a planner, the above is just an example of what I think most couples are looking for.
